I remember those adverts, the same thing with the Sky HD adverts.

On the opposite side what about the adverts for blu-ray which are on blu-ray discs, take about preaching to the converted. I already know its better quality, thats why I have bought the thing.

stupid question maybe but.... is your tv a hd tv?

the extras stuff is normally an excuse to make you buy what you already have. lets face it. how many times are you going to watch the making of, scene scethes, deleted scenes and so on? once? twice??

it seems to be always the same LP to CD, VHS to DVD to Bluray i wonder in 5 years time what the next upgrade will be that the studios will want us to buy a new version of.. bluray plus? redray? double bluray?

    yes the tv is hd.
some extras can be very good. the star wars dvds have good extras. i wouldnt have been so bothered about the extras if the picture had been better and if two months later they hadnt released it again with loads of extras.
