    Hi all :j

I am late posting today as I had to leave for work early. Not very MSE today as I didn't bring my lunch to work as I normally do and have had to buy a sandwich :o

I did bring an apple and a little pot of hummus for snacks though :j Just didn't have time to make sandwiches.

Apart from work (which we won't mention ) I have / will:

Check online banking and move some Amazon money to ISA (done) :T

See to plants and animals (done for now, more later after work - not another late night thankfully)

Pennies from purse to put in pig.

DD and her fiance are coming for supper tonight to celebrate her completing her teacher training course - I was helping her print out her dissertation thing very late last night, and I have told her that SHE is buying the champagne :D

Have a nice day everyone :hello:

    Back to work ......

    Hi All :hello:

I'm not having down day or anything but I am starting to worry a bit more about where I am going to get the rest of my target money by the end of the year. Mainly because I don't always get shifts at the restaurant as they have alot of poeple working there and i've asked to do mainly weeknights as I work full time in the week so I need some rest and time to do other things apart from work. If I don't get as many shifts now and I can't get another 2nd job, how am I going to make the rest up by saving as much a poss and by doing extra little things. It seems alot of money to be able to do it. I'm doing the mystery shops but don't get many, I was doing surveys but haven't got to a pay out yet and unsure whether to carry on as I didn't realise I had to tell the tax people until it was over 3 months (I registered in time for the m shops though). How does everyone save so much if they don't do a 2nd job?

    So today:
    Free scratches
    Look for mystery shops
    Drive carefully
Text man at restaurant about shifts
Look for breakdown cover as runs out tomorrow

  • Good morning everyone, on here nice and early however i should be on my way to work by now. Leaving in a min....

Thanks Urg, i will try and do that later, too be honest my whole budget plan has totally gone out of the window as i am behind with things so catching up following month and so on. Silly of me!! Very silly!

    today i need to:
    • list a couple of items on ebay
    • take lunch to work
    • [STRIKE]take forms to drs for change of dr (my current one is useless so i feel changing will be good value for money as where is my national insurance going if i dont get the help i need when i need it)[/STRIKE] will do tomorrow now!!!!!!!!!!
    • prepare all letters which I need to send recorded tomorrow!
Well am off to work, must try to be motivated and happy today as i am never going to get anywhere if i am continuously struggling with my emotions. I need to look in my work diary and personal to try to work out when i can book some annual leave. I want to try to do a midweek bootsale as i just cant get out at the weekends due to family life!!

Must stay motivated, must stay motivated, must stay motivated!!!!! Help me, inspire me, must force back side into gear!!!!! :rotfl:

Well ive just got home from work and have decided to dye my hair (grey hairs and only £2.93 to get rid of them, feeling so down about my appearance so have decided to come straight home, dye my hair pedicure my feet and do a bit of ebay sorting all before i go to cook dinner!!!! I feel this is money saving doing it myself as i would be looking at £70 at my hairdressers which i can not afford which has resulted in hair showing the grey!!! hopefully this will give me a bit of motivation!!!!!!

    Hi All

Didn't get a chance to post while at work.

DFM - I think you only need to register for 'self-employed' status once. So, if you are registered for M shops you are also registered for surveys. I hope someone will correct me if I am wrong.

    Here's my list:

    Done:
    • Scratchcard - 20p
    • checked bank accounts and ticked off budget sheet
    Still to do:
    • ironing
    • [STRIKE]walk for 30 mins[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]call best friend in France[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]call mum to make sure all birthday plans are sorted.[/STRIKE]
    • start filling in DVLA form to transfer my license from a paper one to a picture one (should have done it when I moved 3 years ago!)
    • tidy kitchen
    • tidy living room
    • [STRIKE]storecupboard meal[/STRIKE]
    • make lunch for tomorrow
    • decluttering
