TalkTalk exit charge

I am going to live in Spain and want to exit my Talk Talk plan which I have had since Sept 2007--phoned today--yes and got thru--told as I had added Broadband since Sept 2007 I would have to pay an exit charge of £70. Diabolical--I did not stop may plan I just added to it---any suggestions---thought of cancelilng m:mad:y DD the day before I go to Spain---with no forwarding address!!

If you are moving abroad then no cessation fees should be applied to the account. Do you have documentation to show the move is permanant? If you can register at https://www.talktalkmembers.com/forums and pop up a post in the customer service and billing section I'll be able to help out in more detail.
