I got through, but then it said that it takes a few weeks to come through - i'm moving house next Friday and put my current address as I have it until the following week - d'oh! Will change the cookies and put new place in, fingers crossed...

It means that you have to log back into things like MSE though as it removes that cookie as well!

There should be a button saying "Show Cookies" on your options page somewhere. You can then search for the particular website and delete its cookies, rather than deleting everything and having to log back in everywhere.

This is definitely true for Firefox but I haven't tested with IE or Safari or anything else.
