Neighbour with mental health problems - should we have been told and what can we do?

Actually I have had bad neighbours...where shall I start..., what I object to is people gossiping about someone elses health problems and the fact that the OP is not seeking to get the woman cared for as you state. Shes just worried that it will affect her house sale. If only more people offered support rather than gossiping maybe our inadequate mental health services wouldnt need to become involved. It also makes me laugh how little some of you on here know about mental health and the services. So the advice given is very inadequate, but good luck to the OP in getting the mental health services involved, maybe a hospital stay can be arranged for the lady when people come to view the house.......now I am laughing.........
1 in 4! it could be YOU, better odds than the lottery.
services are dire, i'm ashamed of them but lets all do something positive and say hello to the 'odd' person, they don't bite (well I don't unless rattled by discriminatory people), people gossiping about my health would have made me feel even more ashamed than I already was and believe me life with mental illness is HARD.0
