Does my postie need a rap over the knuckles?

We have several different posties, one is a pleasant young man who always goes around very very quickly. Three months ago he delivered all our letters to the wrong number, bearing in mind that we live on a development where several people have holiday homes and go away for weeks at a time. I told him and he apologised so ok it went no further.

He did the same today and now what? Do I go to the sorting office and make a complaint? Much of the stuff we get is time sensitive so this cannot go on

    Are the addresses very similar?

My grandparents get mail regulary for a house with the same house number, street name but "Way" instead of "Court" at the end even though this address is on the other side of town and has a completely different postcode.

Mistakes happen, especially when someone is under such time constraints as most posties are. Have a quiet word yourself, if you notify the sorting office you are going to cause trouble for the postie, which really wouldn't be fair.
    Gone ... or have I?

I agree with dmg24 have another word with him. If that doesnt work then making a formal complaint is the only way. While I agree posties can be under pressure, that doesn't mean this sort of thing can go on. Peoples mail need to be delivered correctly to avoid security issues. If the managers don't know there is a problem then it cant be sorted

If you do want to make a complaint don't contact the delivery office, contact customer services on 08457740740, then it's officially logged and should you get further problems there is a record of your previous complaint
