I have an Acer Aspire 5310 Laptop, and have No CD for the Operating system. How am I supposed to re-program it in the result of a failure or HDD Upgrade?

Am I Entitled to a Disc from Acer?

How do I go about getting one?

    hi there

you will most likely have a recovery partition. and there should be an acer program in the programs list for making your own recovery media.

i also suggest making a backup image via an imaging program as i dont like to depend on CD / DVDs

    regards

See my post and this thread here, there should always be an option to have the media. I've never had a PC without a media CD for the operating system. Sometimes there is a small fee, other times it's included. Ring up and request one.
