The other problem now of course is that they have offered to rectify the error for free.
What was the reason they gave for the difference in price £400 to £700 ???

Thats funny because I was thinking exactly the same thing last night
If he got the timing completely wrong first time and valves hit pistons etc, then he got the timing rightish enough to run
The only way of being certain is to strip the engine again

It's very possible another one is people damaging the spark plug while the head is off but for it to be down on 2 cylinders i doubt this is the case.:)
