Check the Malware removal thread at the top of this forum. That will point you in the right direction.
You'll need to post various logs for better people than me to look at.

Sounds remarkably like "anti virus plus", i have a friend who fell for the scam and ended up paying them £70 for a "life time subscription", her card was then hit 3 times and her PC was left in ruins.

Only legitimate virus scanners can tell you if you've got a infection and thos will normally need well over an hour to do the scan.

    Information and removal instructions...

Plenty of hope (unless you paid them).
Follow the instructions on the malware removal sticky.

    Suggest you follow this advice.
Most of us on here ineterested in being 'safe' use Malwarebytes as there are several kind souls who will help if you get into probs.
I ran it on this computer earlier (as I do regularly) and it found and removed two trojans.
Just be sure to UPDATE it after you've downloaded it and BEFORE you run it.
    Good Luck.;)

Just out of interest, the latest one I'm seeing is winav 2009. The guy I'm doing sub contract work for has been taking these in at the rate of one a day for the past week or so. Not all of them have installed file sharing, or been looking at pron, but saying that a few have been using dating sites, and nearly all of them have kids who have been using social network sites.

I like these stupid scareware tactics, they are a little goldmine for us.
