Maturing Barclays Monthly Savers

As Barclays brought out the 7.75% monthly saver at the beginning of June 2008 some of these accounts are now maturing. If my experience is typical Barclays will not tell you punctually that the 12 months are up and your money has been transferred into a very low interest account. So if you took out a Monthly Saver last June check the opening date and move your money as soon as the 12 months are up. It's easy to move the money at the counter via faster payment. My interest on the £250 per month was £97.33.
