24 k to invest ...where?

hello, my guranteed savings account of 6% is coming to an end in august. i have about 24 k saved up. i haven't found a house yet to buy so which is the best and safest way i can invest the money? all the best savings accounts are paying a meager amount of interest while all the good ones are limited to £2,500. any advice ?…

Yep ICICI,. Now you can only get them rates on short term regular savers or 3/4% fixed for one year, they did actually have 2/3yr fixed at above 7%...hindsight is a great thing!!
