I'm currently an un-discharged bankrupt, I am working full time and currently renting a house. My husband lost his job in February (he is also un-discharged bankrupt) and I am struggling to keep up payments on our rented property. We have asked our Landlord if he can lower his rental payments and once my husband is back in work we'd pay back any arrears. He hasn't come back to us so doesn't seem too hopeful. I have been looking round at properties with a lower rent however these are through estate agents - I can't get a guarantor does this mean that I won't be able to move - so stressed don't know where to turn:eek:

Some letting agents will, if your credit score comes back bad, take a reference instead from your employer stating your in full time employment and what you earn. All depends on the agent. Where I work the lettings department do that on a regular basis if they can't get a guarantor. To love and be loved is the greatest happiness of existance - Sydney Smith0
