Hey Everyone,
I recently bought a bluetooth headset from ebay and seem to be having problems pairing it up to my phone. I spoke to the seller and he told me to try something out but that didn't work. Im now starting to think that the headset isn't compatible with my phone. I have a nokia 6300.
What does everyone else think?
Thanks

without knowing the bluetooth headset, there is no way to be 100% sure, however, i'd think that any phone will work with a bt headset.
1 - put headset into pairing mode, normally, it is press and hold the button til a light flashes fast.
2 - in the bluetooth menu of phone, select, new headset or something like that
3 - it'll ask for the passcode, normally, headsets are 0000
that's how i've done it in the past with any of mine.

I have tried that and im still having no luck. I think what my problem is because I got it from hong kong and I think its because of it being European as well. I don't know what to do and I don't wanna end up buying the same headset from ebay but from a person in the UK.MarkAldridge0

What I have now done is seen if I can get my money back on the headset because of it being defective and I have seen the same headset but from a UK Seller and once I get the money back I will buy that one. I have definetly learnt something never to buy electronics from hong kong again.MarkAldridge0
