Change of Signature

Morning,

Does anyone know what the process is of changing their signature, and who they would need to contact? Would they need to change their passport or any other documents?

Many thanks

Not sure if it is easy to change passports, driving licences and the like to a new signature. Perhaps the only excuse is if the person has lost their hand in an accident or something and can't actually write the signature.

My oh has two signatures, his "old" one which is on his passport and driving licences and his "new" one which he uses day to day.

The bank has never queried why his signature has changed from when he first opened his account.

There isn't an 'official' way to change your signature. He'll just have to change it gradually as he goes.

I'm in the process of doing this - new bank cards and credit card have "current" signature, old card (expires this year), passport (next year) and driving licence (year after) have old signature.

Mine changed by a process of evolution - going from not signing name except for when buying things to having to sign about 30 times a day through work made me come up with a more "efficient" signature.
