should i try?

hi

we got our morgage 10yrs ago, and in the contract at the time it stated we had to have our buildings and contents insurance from them. I did question this with the broker at the time and he said just to go with it. our morgage is still with the halifax. so should i risk claiming it back or has anyone heard of them calling back the debt?

Hi there

Maybe Dunstonh will advise you on this actual matter.

However if you believe this was mis sold to you for example they added this without your authority, with no choice, I think you can still try to reclaim and complain with your reasons.

Hopefully though Dunstonh will give you more info and advice on this one for you at some point today, good luck.;)
