"on the road" price
I'm thinking about buying a new car. Well 2nd hand but new to me IYSWIM :rolleyes:
What does "on the road" price mean? And more importantly if the garage aren't advertising the on the road price .... what hidden extras should I be aware of?
I mean is it just the cost of Taxing the car? or there something more I should be aware of?

On the road price for new cars includes the registration fees for number plates etc.

If a second hand car was being advertsised as OTR price then I would be exoecting some tax with it. Hopefully at least 6 months.
My view (on 2nd hand) would be the price for it to be legal to just jump in and drive off. If it has no tax use that as a bargaining tool.0 -
