Definately visit the roman baths worth every penny.
As for restaurants, I was there this May and we ate at a bloody excellent vegetarian restaurant called DeMuths (can be pricey if you eat fri/sat eve) worth every penny.
Make some time for shopping as it's a lovely city in itself with some lovely shops.0 -
For a really cheap day wander up the main street to The Circus, then onto The Crescent you can visit the museum at No1 for £5 each, then finally have a lovely walk through Victoria Park.
Just Googled Bath maps & came across this fab walking plan for you http://www.bath.co.uk/_code/sections/whattoseeanddo/walkquick.asp
If you are a Rugby fan then I would walk down Great Pulteney Street as The Rec is halfway down here!
The Boston Tea Party is a nice place to sit & watch the world go by http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=The+Boston+Tea+Party+BA1+2AE&sll=51.381505,-2.36314&sspn=0.009897,0.019312&ie=UTF8&z=16&iwloc=A
If you like books then a visit to Mr B's Emporium is a must.
Bath is a beautiful city & if architecture's your thing then you could just wander around all weekend & be very happy.
I hope you have a lovely time
