Hi Everyone
Was gonna apply for the HSBC student account with £50 free.
I only have a conditional UCAS letter at the moment
Was wondering when i could do this? Do I need the A2 Results ?

When I opened mine I needed an unconditional offer letter. But now I understand that students need to have a bank account before they apply for support (loan or whatever) although I guess this doesn't have to be a student account. Have had a quick look on the HSBC website but can't find any mention of £50, where have you seen that? You're best off calling them or going into a branch I guess.Don't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. Except for death and paying taxes, everything in life is only for now... When you apply for your loan, put down the details of your current bank account. These details can easily be changed at a later date.
As for the student account, most, if not all banks require an unconditional letter of acceptance from UCAS that you won't get until your results have been released or until you accept an unconditional offer from a university. Hope this helps0 -

They give £50 or 10xCD Vouchers and a discount card0 -
Most banks require a letter of acceptance from the UNIVERSITY. I've heard of some opening the account around now(ish - maybe after easter?) but wont give you the overdraft until you have the letter of acceptance.Come to my garden in South Bucks and i'll find you a wasp...0
