For information on boycotts and boycotting in general you can visit https://www.ethicalcounsumer.org which is the website of the ethical consumer magazine and click on the boycotts, there you can find out news on boycott,s information on boycotting in general and whats currently being boycotted for what reason.
im not a perfect person but i try to live an ethical life. im not a mother and found out about the nestle boyycott through a poster in my nearest town a while back then got into it via the interent. i have also been boycotting Procter and Gamble for their animal testing for a number of years, but as i live with my parents i constantly find myself having my clothes washed in their stuff etc., it is very hard to explain to the people who are nearest and dearest to me about my boycotting ways but i dont wish to stop as i know it has made me a better person with a good soul and conscience.
merry xmas to one and all, whatever your choice in life is.my advantage_card is like gold dush0 -
Ok, I haven't been on this site for a while, so this is probably a daft question, why is it when I click on the argos hunt I seem to be taken to the milky bar forum? ???0

So fingers crossed lots of bargains to be found tomorrow. Nice to see more people from York here. Hope you all had a good Christmas ;D ;DNo reliance should be placed on the above.0

in all of these boycotts i only ever hear one side and that is the side of the people doing the boycotting... there is two sides to every story and every boycott.. sometimes the boycotts (and im not saying this one) get hijacked for some peoples own agendasThose we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear
Our thoughts are ever with you,Though you have passed away. And those who loved you dearly,
Are thinking of you today.0 -
I understand what you are saying
I too was unsure of the nestle boycott until I read a lot of information
I am a scientist and am used to reading literature and assessing its validity and worth
"The World Health Organisation (WHO) estimates that 1.5 million infants die around the world every year because they are not breastfed. Where water is unsafe a bottle-fed child is up to 25 times more likely to die as a result of diarrhoea than a breastfed child.
That is why a marketing code was introduced in 1981 to regulate the marketing of breastmilk substitutes. Companies continue to violate its provisions
"Baby Milk Action is a non-profit organisation which aims to save lives and to end the avoidable suffering caused by inappropriate infant feeding.0 -
