Any plumbers out there?

DH recently fitted one of these , but when the cistern has finished filling up after flushing, it makes a thudding noise. He says he has fitted it right, but the 'thud' is beginning to irritate me. Any clues as to the problem would be appreciated

Hi
Is it fitted to a mains pressure supply ? Has the correct insert been fitted inside as per the instructions?

The 'thud' lasts about 1/10 of a second, how many times do you flush your toilet? think about changing your diet.0
