i was told verbally 2 weeks ago that my boss no longer needs me to do my job that i was contracted to do, i have not received anything in writing and he has not discussed redundancy pay, think he is trying to get out of it.( i have worked for him for over 2 years), today he informed me that he will be moving out of the offices as of 16th june, where do i stand? and what am i legally entitled to?. please help

You have to be informed in writing - there is a redundancy section on the ACAS website. You are entitled to redundancy pay and again the website gives details. You have the right to take your employer to an ET if he fails to pay you.£705,000 raised by client groups in the past 18 mths :beer:0
