Bit of a letdown for a unit with that spec!

That is a let-down - I was interested because I think the i3 is a brilliant bit of kit - I'm looking for european mapping, which this appears to have, but lack of postcode search and an american woman's voice is a letdown. Is the Navman ICN 520 better?

Just phoned my Halfords, they said the price in the advert is a mistake. You need to bring the advert with you in order to get the price

Just spoken to Halfords in York and they have sold out, other stores in this area have called them re lack of stock. I wonder if this is a genuine offer ?

The main benefits of the Quest are:

    1) Its waterproof so OK for motorcycle use/ walking.
    2) The internal battery lasts 20 hours.

£149 is a bargain for those reasons - but if you want an in-car system its not as good as the cheaper i3 in my opinion.

I have the News Of The World, no sign of it in there. I have been into Halfords today to weigh up the options, and I have an opinion if anyone is interested!

If you are a casual UK user
GO for the Garmin I3, its small, full postcode search and easily transferable

If you drive alot and also into europe
Go for the AA Ultimate, its got everything and comes with 3 years speed camera updates and traffic info

    Price
    Garmin I3 = £129, £30 off
    AA Ultimate = £299, £350 off!

The navman and the quest have alot of negatives and seem a bit too advanced for the casual user, and the no postcode option on the quest is silly

I live in Thetford, Norfolk ( Please dont hold that against me) and the halfords here has plenty of stock of the AA one, none of the other 2

Hope this helps someone, let me know if you would like anymore info and I will do my best to help
