Liquidation advice

Hi people,

I could do with some help please on a situation I'm in with a certain company...

Upshot is I paid £250 for some camera equipment through an online company. I paid via credit card, never received the goods, contacted the company several times to cancel order. I eventually managed to speak to someone and they allegidly refunded my account (reference number emailed, etc...). However, that refund has yet to be seen (8 working days on).

Anyway, I received a letter today from some accountants today stating the company have announced notice of liquidation.

I'm not sure where I stand with this. Can I claim off my credit card company? Do I need to go down the liquidation route? If so, can anyone explain this process please, as I'm confued by it all.

Many thanks

Quite straight forward. yes you can claim with your card issuer. give them a call and they will no doubt send you out a lettter to complete and forward to them.

    Just a heads up

Get a copy of the liquidators letter.
Note down what contact you have had with the merchant
    Copy of your origional invoice
    Send this to your bank.
Done Chargeback done Non receipt of goods thanks very much:D

    good luck

Thanks for the feedback. I've contacted my credit card company who will send out the relevant paperwork as expected

They have also instructed that I proceed with the creditor proxy (which I find quite confusing) and proof of debt forms.
