Moved my landline from bt question

Due to BTs mess up with my dierct debits I have moved my landline to
yourcalls.net.
I now owe around £40 to BT but will need to pay this off in installments as I am in receipt of benefit.
If I do not pay BT the full amount straight away.
Can they still restrict my line although thet are not my landline provider
I Pay my line rental to yourcalls.net, And yourcalls.net pay this to BT
Thanks.

No, if your contract is with yourcalls.net then BT have no power to block the line. Has your line transfer actually gone through, as it's unusual for BT to release the line if there are outstanding debts due on it?
