Cheapest way to call the UK from the USA?

This is an international Money Saving Request....

My girlfriend ( :A )is based in the states at the moment and has a US mobile (with verizon, i think) and calls me on my mobile. This is costing her a fortune. I call her and have saved bundles thanks to the posts on this site.

Can anyone help me to help her?

She could get any of hundreds of calling cards. Then dial either a local area code or 800 number, maybe enter a PIN or it recognises the caller ID pre-registered, then call your number.

https://www.masterbell.com suggests Bizon at 2c per minute

https://www.pinonsale.com has tons, and some are a bit cheaper, but you need to study extra charges, eg daily, weekly fees, per minute billing, connect fees, surcharges etc

If you search for calling cards on Google, you could spend hours

send her to WalMart or Target and get a prepaid calling card - they end up costing cents/min to call the UK..... I had a $20 card last me a month and a bit last time I was there.....
