European Travel Cover

I will soon be moving to Italy and I will be taking my car on a one way trip. I would like ti insure my car for breakdown cover. Unfortunately, no English breakdown companies will insure me since it is a one way trip. Does anybody know of a an English or European company who will insure me?

Do they have to know it is a one way trip?

If you are still struggling take it into a garage and get it serviced before you go and explain to them that you want it to get to Italy in one piece and ask them to let you know if anything else needs sorted out before you go. Then cross fingers and away you go?
