Royal Mail - Passport "Checking" Service

What a complete waste of money this is! Not only did they not provide the right advice so that my application was rejected but it was pointed out to them (3 times) that they would have to have my current passport submitted but rejected this (which was the application was refused). They have now rejected a refund as they don't advise on "nationality". I can't even be bothered pursuing it as the IQ levels and accountability are so low that it is simply impossible. I will not be using their services if I can help it. This is not the first time I have been given bum advice.

I certainly won't use them again either- I asked for 3 passports to be checked and 2 were rejected because of the photos (Done in a photo shop mind you!).July Win: Nokia 58000

It's getting to a pretty poor state when it's pointless trying to complain. I've tried on other occasions about failure to re-direct mail and packages arriving 5 months later than they advised. They are really failing the consumers but don't care in the slightest. How they have the hide to charge for such poor advice is beyond me.0

I think this is the post offices checking service not royal mail, but yeah my friend did it and it still got rejected. I filled mine out myself and it was fine, if you can read you don't need it

y cant ppl just fill in the form and send it regardless?? why r u paying £5 for a twonk to 'check' ur form?? as if they can do anything.
send it away and if theres problems they send it back with a prepaid envelope. so charge.
the Passport office is a joke anyway, they bend their own rules wen it comes to fotos. my bro's was wrong but having redone the pics, it was still 'not good enuff' so they sent us back the new passport with the 1st picture.

I applied online. Solved that problem. Just sign the form they deliver, put my old passport in the envelope, job done! And save a fiver..Starting Debt: ~£20,000 01/01/2009. DFD: 20/11/2009 :j
