Double glazing firms in Bedford area

Hi All

We are planning to have our aluminium windows replaced on our 3 bed semi, plus 2 new doors and a new patio door. Can anyone recommend a good double glazing company local to the Bedford area - we have asked around our friends, neighbours and family with no joy- it seems no-one is happy to recommend any company to us, as they've all had bad experiences too!

Thanks in advance!

Is Luton any good? We have had lots of work (new front door, windows, conservatory and patio doors) done by Serenade Windows in Luton and they are great - good on price, great job and really friendly

    hi

we use a local based chap who has been in trade many years and is well known - he is listed on the fensa website - if you cannot find pm and i will tell you (not sure i can mention names here) P.s he is surprisingly very reasonable

we recently had ours done and he was by far the best value compared to the local big companies.

You could try Alucare in Flitwick........I've heard they're very good.
    I think they've got a website

thanks for your messages we'll be contacting the firms you mentioned, plus a few more from the beds on sunday / times and citizen and will let you know how we get on.

we are not looking forward to the experience - but having a screaming 6 month old in the house may be a good weapon in getting rid of any pushy sales men!
