He is a keyboard warrior mate, he wouldn't dare say it to my face, forums like this are full of them.

Well I guess it looks like I am scuppered, although I am !!!!!! off about it.

I dont like the way this deal was done - its blatantly obvious that the reason it happened was due to the company being incompetent - someone in the buying team didnt realise that the first time round it was £12.95 when they put the second sale on or whatever... I know this because I used to work for a similar large online retailer.

I think that whatever anyones opinion is, this is bad customer service and perhaps it seems there is no legal obligation to refund me - but I would argue that its a bit morally suspect.

I mean come on - they blatantly ignored my first email, then had a good laugh at my expense.

My argument will always be that I applied 'good will' when I emailed them PRIOR to despatch and asked for the goods to be sold to me at the lower price...

I could easily have excercised my right to cancel and reorder, which I didnt do.

So what I am saying is that because I excercised 'good will' I feel the moral obligation on this company is to excercise 'good will' as well - I dont understand how this cant make sense to ANYONE!!

    Matt

so when you make a mistake like.. lets say claiming you have every right to the £3 (which you dont)

that makes you incompetent??? well apparently it does to your above message

    the misprice is a mistake

there are fleshy squidgy humans behind that business you know

stop being so rude and insulting

if you wanted advice, why wont you take it

    YOU HAVE NO RIGHTS!!!!!

    as said

if you dont like it, return it under dsr and re order saving yourself a few pence

    deal with it!

as far as im concerned and everyone else im pretty sure for that matter, the thread is over, nothing more to comment on
    Back by no demand whatsoever.

In addition, noone seems to care much for the point of customer service.

This website is so keen to point out faults and facts about contracts and legal obligations that you guys seem to have forgotten what sometimes counts more - customer service.

Does anyone care about the blatant lack of response from the company in question? No.

I very strongly doubt that every person here thinks this is a shining example of how you SHOULD deal with customers - because its clearly not, whether I am right or wrong.

And should this thread be closed? Well I dunno - its an unmoderated forum and we are all communicating in one way or another (granted, some of you are barely communicative, slavering halfman creatures it seems) to achieve some sort of goal - my goal perhaps being unachievable, half of you seemingly to attack any new poster like a pack of rabid dogs, and then a few genuine posters.

Anyway, I will continue the fight - and as I said before, I promise you I will have that £3 - no doubt at least half of you will be really, REALLY !!!!ed off when I get it :)

    Oh, another keyboard warrior.

    Rude and insulting?

Did you inject Heroin into your eyeballs when you woke up this morning?

This website has opened my eyes I can tell you that... I have no problems being wrong, as I have responded politely to various posters who have made constructive comments.

As for the rest of you, what a bunch of barely literate, arrogant, cliquey !!!!ing !!!!!! you are - I bet it makes you feel all warm inside to find threads like this and do your damndest to pick faults and throw insults at people who genuinely want advice.

Me rude? Do yourself a favour mate and fall of something tall, preferrably onto something sharp, or at the very least, rocky.

    Regards
    Matt

OP reported, can a MOD close this thread please?
If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

  • Customer service isnt bad just because they dont tell you what you want.

You really do sound like a !!!!!

RagingKileak if you took your attitude displayed on this forum with the company in question, I'm hardly surprised that they didn't offer you anything. You need to go wash your mouth out with soap and learn some manners.
