Anyone visiting Oxford on a nice sunny day might enjoy a drive up to The Kilns (just outside the Oxford ring road, on the Headington side) to see where C S Lewis lived for the last thirty-or-so years of his life. The lake and grounds are free to wander about in. Further details here:
