Paypal refusing my payment

I have just done a buy it now and clicked on pay via paypal and the following error message has come up

'The amount of this transaction exceeds your remaining Sending Limit and cannot be processed at this time. You will need to add your bank account and set up Direct Debit to remove this limit. Once your bank account has been added and Direct Debit has been set up, you can continue this payment. Add your bank account information below.'

I don't understand it, I have the upgraded paypal account to be able to sell as well as buy, I also have £35 credit in my Paypal account and the item I am buying is only £15!!! Does anyone know what this message is all about?

Thanks

They only allow a ficed amount of money to go in/out per month unless you sign over your bank account to them.

The balance in the account is irrelevant if you have a;ready reached your limit.

It could be to do with the antimoneylaundering regulations; if the transactions on your account reach a reportable level, Paypal has to carry out further identification processes on you which involve verifying your bank account.
The ability of skinny old ladies to carry huge loads is phenomenal. An ant can carry one hundred times its own weight, but there is no known limit to the lifting power of the average tiny eighty-year-old Spanish peasant grandmother.

That makes sense, I have bought and sold quite a bit over the last month, so maybe that explains it.

Do you know if it will restrict people paying me. I have a few things up for sale and worried about them not being able to pay me via paypal.

    Thanks

According to the TOS sending and receiving limits are different. On a personal account the receiving limit is £250.
