Hi, I bought two poly tunnel cloches from poundland, and have put them out on my new rasied vegetable bed, I just wondered, do I need to put anything against the ends of the tunnel at night or do they offer enough protection for my young plants, as I currently have pieces of cardboard balanced at the ends at night - but i figure that wouldn't be much use if it rains

You may find that if you dont cover the sides with something the wind will get in and rip it to shreds especialy as its a Poundland one the plastic rips but if it does keep the bars and recover next year with builders plastic. The solving of a problem lies in finding the solvers.0
