Do you not get free parking at work or do you have to pay for parking? If you have to pay and can prove it, then it would not be a problem.

Just a quick thought on this, you say that your parents own the car and it is registered to them, so technically you shouldnt be able to include any car related costs on there as you dont have one. Dont know if thats right but i know when I went for my DRO the CAB asked who was the owner of the car, but as it was legally mine just registered in partners name. They didnt query mobile phone but i think we only had £10 each in for that. All they do is check the Common Financial Statement Trigger Figures. Remember also that everything is taken on an average month ie (i know it doesnt apply to you but..) say £20pw Child benefit most would say that is £80pm when in fact it is £86.67. Same goes for gas & elec. That nearly caught us out.

If you have use of a car and pay for petrol etc. to use it then you can put those expenses down.

    Hi,

When I was working I had to park in a station car park at £3.00 per day, I think it was. That equates to £15.00pw; £60pm, so I wouldn't have thought £20.00pm is a lot if you can prove you need it?

As jamesb1239 said, if you use the car do you not have to contribute anything towards MOT/Service etc?

If you do this should help your surplus?

If you can "fiddle" the amounts as best you can to hit the £50 surplus, my advice would be to take a punt on a DRO.
A good intermediary will be able to tell you before paying your fee whether it is likely to be accepted or not.
