There is another fire service recruiting which is actually more local to where we'll be living but that doesnt open up till nov and im not even sure how long its going to take for their recruitment process to finish...

I just feel so bad for him because this is the only thing he wants to do in his life, and they've said on the email they cant give any feedback which is even harder because we cant work on where he's gone wrong.... which is going to be what really hurts for him....

I could cry right now but im waiting at work for a delivery, whilst everyone else is away on a training weekend, and I cant go answering the door looking a right mess!

    Oh no! :(

Ok, he needs to ask them why not now- without knowing he cant work on it. - sorry just re-read- its still worth asking "should I apply for other services or is the reason going to stop me being successful elsewhere"

Honey Im so sorry I know how much was riding on this :(:(

Honey, I just had a thought. Could you ask ( well not you, the husband) for the transcription of the phone interview under the data protection act- then you both can take a look at what was said and put your minds at rest.

It shoud cost no more than a tenner for DPA requests as I recall it.
