    thanks all

ive tried calling the interview people to set up my time, left a msg but noone has got back to me yet so going to call again tomorrow...

had a really disappointing call from payplan as well, basically said they couldnt do anything for us right now and to carry on paying, which i said we couldnt afford, and she said until we know whats happening with my job situation.

On the whole i was really disappointed. I told DH I didnt know what we were going to do and i feel like im being pushed toward offering to stay at the practice just for the wage but DH has refused to let me do that LOL....

GOD WHEN IS MY LIFE GOING TO START TO GET EASIER!!!???

    hi hun

Personally I would carry along with your plan and simply on your last day at the practice call payplan and say you are now out of work.

Come chat to me - did you see that email sent earlier - come talk

Have a look at the National Debtline - they do the template letters on there that will allow you to set up your own DMP.

If you go on the DMP support thread, I am sure you will find lots of people who have gone it alone - you can start off with token £1 payments until you know what is what.

It would certainly give you that feeling of taking control again, and that is half the battle.

I do my own DMP - and definately feel in control :D (used to be with CCCS but much more flexible going it alone)
