I bought one from Works (still a branch in Solihull) for around £4 and i have seen them in Superdrugs too. it was the first style pedegg (i think the new ones have a separate compartment to catch the dry skin) whereas my one is one small compartment insider another and with an emery board at the back (though by reading a poster above i don't knowif its a copy as it;s definitely called a pedegg and contact details mentioned are american contacts).
    anyway,

i find them really good especially for hubby's feet - the kids have fun pampering him!

it's best to use it on dry feet and gently. wash your feet and then apply foot cream/lotion/moisturiser after. it's just like a compact cheese grater type foot file.

I think people just cant afford to splash out ten quid on something like that so they arent selling that well hence the the market, these were proper Ped Eggs by the way I checked :) not fake knock offs

    K x

Is there a way of telling genuine/fake? I'd buy a cheap one (genuine);)

I've not used one but find a Foot File from the body shop is brilliant and much cheaper. Although you do then have to sweep the floor as the bits don;t get collected. Pumice is also very good and very cheap.

I got one from the market man for a quid at the weekend, for that price if it's no good I shall just throw it away. I gave it a go this morning and it seems quite good though. I am trying to get my feet really nice ready for a champneys pedicure next month (don't want to go with icky feet lol!!)

I've got a foot file already, I don't think it's that great to be honest...I have a scholl file that's brilliant though.
Well I can't stand by the side
And watch this life pass me by

    Just want to be...Happy

yeah! he's so lucky. if we all go upstairs when its kids bedtime - around 8-8.30, kids try to stay up a bit more by saying they will pamper daddy!. dd's are 8y & 6y and each pedegg his feet/heels and slather them with lotion afterwards - while he read a book!!!

the kids stay up for a bit longer, hubby's happy:D, gives me a rest too and i am happy for them to spend time together while i do something else!! but the kids especially love it when hubby ski's across the carpet afterwards trying to tuck them into bed :rotfl:. he;s enjoying this bonding time before girls grow up old enough to not bother anymore!

Never used but was hard sell on American tv when on holiday last year. QVC had a similar item for about £20 last week.

    now £3-89 with free shipping

Not great reviews on Amazon for the professional pedegg. I thought about one the other day as my Scholl foot file doesn't really do the job.
