This is a new one on me. Use the spare processing power of your pc to donate money to charities. Sure, I've heard of distibuted computing, as I use them myself on various pcs to fight AIDS, a cure for a cancer etc, etc. But donating to charity for free via distributed computing - well, I've not heard of that one before.
It donates money to Care, The Nature Conservancy, Oaktree Foundation and Water:Charity.
