Good for you! previous posters on here have done full structural surveys for about 600. Depends where you live though I guess
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

Well done for agreeing a sale, the mortgage valuation/surveys will usually be arranged by the mortgage lender. As for timescales, check with how quick everybody else wants to move, they may have holidays planned etc that they haven't mentioned to anybody. You should be able to get to a move date in about 6 - 8 weeks.

Surveys should be done in approx 2-3 weeks, searches should also be applied for straight away.

    Best of luck.
