Switch now dilemma

I know MSE recommends to switch NOW, and I have done the comparisons using the screenscrapers that Martin recommends.
My only concern is that the better options appear to be either n-power for both or (bizarrely) n-power for gas and British Gas for electricity.
But as a result of recent increases, I am in a capped prices contract with Scottish Power (for both gas and electricity) until Oct 07.
The comparisons do not seem to offer a capped price for either n-power or British Gas.
So while these options offer a better deal NOW, they might increase (mightn't they?) before Oct 07. Does this still make them a better deal? Would it be worth switching and then re-doing the price comparison for the future if they announce more increases?
Just nervous about jumping from the frying pan into the fire. Would appreciate any feedback and ideas...

You'll find that most uncapped deals can beat your capped deal but they'll be increasing their price before Oct 07. Can't see any point in jumping out of a capped deal into the unknown.jungtheforeman wrote:So while these options offer a better deal NOW, they might increase (mightn't they?) before Oct 07.
