Mine also shows the regular payment debited, but if Halifax want to pay me 10% on the £500 rather than 1% in the 'High' interest account that's fine by me.
The bad news - all the transactions are dated 1st June so the interest benefit you hope for doesn't happen!

    This works both ways.

If a credit was due in 1st june you would now have access to it.

My mortgage has come out today too (LTSB) it's supposed to be 1st. It's on my online statement.

Banks don't work weekends and I think it would be a major over haul for UK banking to do this. They don't process anything over the weekends so it always dated the next working day.

Trust me the 1st of the month is beatch because most of the UK gets paid on the last working day of the month or the 1st and guess when most people d/d and s/o going out?

In my Alliance and Leicester current account, I have several DD's that have taken the money today and are showing payment on the 1st June.

I have a regular payment due on the 1st of the month, for my Halifax Regular Saver, that has also been taken today.
    Mortgage
    May 2014 - £255,000.00
    Jan 2015 - £251.589.00
    O/P To Date £194.04

Banks do anything internal over the weekend, it's only things that involve one bank to another where they go out on the following working day.
