Hyundai i 110 auto box...good / bad ?

Off later today to have a look at the above on the scrappage scheme.

I know that small auto boxes usually get a bad press, but if anyone who has the 1.2 auto, can post how the "useability" of the box is, that would help me greatly.

I dont think "useability" is a proper word,... but it should be ! ;)

Thanks in anticipation.

I think a lot of the problems with the smaller cars are autos which in effect an electronic clutch !!
The Ford powershift and VW Dsg are the exceptions which are very good

The i10 has a proper automatic gearbox with 4 gears. Much better than a clutchless manual.

  • If anyone's looking for a good small car with proper auto box, don't dismiss the Daihatsu Sirion.
    Suzuki's also have proper auto's.

Indeed, a " forgotten " car, but an excellent one.

    Daihatsu is part of Toyota.;)

That is good news, the only problem now, is finding a dealer, with an automatic to test drive ! (Lancashire area if anyone knows one).;)
