hello all
its a long story but i have come in to a little money. i am in a dmp plan with payplan.and phoned them to let them see i if they can negotiate a final settlement.they said i would have to pay 80% of the debt to my creditors.now i know it was my fault in the first place with this debt but i think that is a bit much.i was going to phone the creditors myself and negotiate.how should i procced.and if the except my offer. should i get a letter off them saying that they will except my offer.also do i go to the original creditor or the one that has got it now.because one of the original creditors[first direct]put a default notice on me in2003 april.would this be taken off when it is payed
