pros are its probably better equipment and you dont need to deal with the dreadful dsgi group

    cons are no installation

Doing it yourself shouldn't be too daunting a task.

The Apple TV is unbelievably easy to set up. You plug it in, enter your wifi network info, and you're done.

Im not quite sure what they're offering there, your better off with something that you can transfer movies/music to, something with an internal HDD, rather than live streaming.
Like my Freecom 450, with 500gb hard disk.... I move files to it at night, then play them whenever I like without having to have my PC turned on. It does do live streaming, but I'll never use it.
I love my bandwidth too much to waste it on streaming media.

The way I read it, it includes installation of a "Digital Media Streamer", which you have to purchase separately.

Knowing PCW, that is just the installation service alone..

even if you buy the most simplest item, they want to charge you £88 for installation..

you still need the kit etc to make it all work

It can't include the hardware because in the blurb it says

"Depending on the media streamer we can set it up to connect to your stereo system and speakers or to your TV"

If they supplied the hardware there wouldn't be any "depending on".

All they'll be doing is plugging it into the hifi or tv and setting up the wifi connection to the router.
