Ok.
Get 2 old socks. Wring one out in soapy water until barely damp. Put socks on hands like mittens. Wipe with damp sock, buff with dry. Et voila. Job done.SMILE....they will wonder what you are up to...........;)0 -

i do the "clean face cloth a day" as mentioned above
but showerscreens & mirrors
i clean them down, and then use car polish on them
just as you would a car, rub on, buff off
i do this once a month
it stops soap build up on the shower screen (i spray it dwon before i come out but no one else does!)
and it stops mirrors from steaming up
i HATE people who smear mirrors wiping away steam:mad:0 -
I can't do microfibre, its like chalk down a chalkboard to me. I favour damp and dry, I have one wet facecloth squeezed out really well and one dry to take up any excess moisture.
I don't use any polish as I don't want to damage my furniture. I have solid Maple and Alder furniture in my bedroom and the cleaning instructions said not to use any polish, just damp and dry.
Same downstairs where I have solid oak.£2.00 Savers Club = £34.00 So Far
+ however may £2 coins I have saved in my Terramundi since 2000.

I just use a damp cloth - but have also been known to use the odd sock!!At least the fish fingers are still frozen, that's what I keep telling myself (Truly Madly Deeply)0

Hi there
I have lots of cloths rags...made from old towels and sheets. I use these for wet dusting. I have little bucket of hot soapy water and ring the cloth out really tight and wet dust all wood furniture. I have some antique furniture and I rarely use polish as it can build up on the wood.
I use the towel ones for bathroom and separate ones for kitchen cleaning. I usually steep them all in a bleach solution and then wash in hot cycle.
I have a cloth that I bought from Lakeland and requires only water for cleaning glass and mirrors. I cant remember how much it cost but it is well worth it for bathroom mirror and chrome.
Hope this helps."You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream"C. S. Lewis
