The bathroom I deal with slightly differently. I have a stack of clean faceclothes and use a clean one each day. Before chucking it into the washing I quickly wipe around the bathroom. Keeping clutter to a minimum makes this job even quicker, though not something I'm very good at,so I just shuffle the clutter. So, my bathroom gets a daily dust and wipe around in between once or twice weekly deeper cleans and I'm always using a nice clean face cloth!

Our floor gets the same, its fluff off the towels here.

As for dusting, I use Sainsburys Lavender polish and microfibre cloths.

Dunelm Mills sell those pledge type of dusters but microfiber. Then you just bung em in the washing machine ;)

These are the two we use:

Ostrich feather duster, static builds up in the feathers to attract the dust so the duster collects it. Just swirl it between your palms outside to release the dust.

Flippin' expensive but lasts about 10 years

i used to do this when my twins were little and had bathtime - once they were washed id use the flannel to wipe round the taps/sink/bath then bung the flannel in the wash. flannels are so cheap these days :j

  • I found a lot of the dust in my bathroom went away when I started using Asdas smart price loo roll! I'm a microfibre cloth and water girl too....if I have any fabric conditioner (most of the time I use vinegar if I can get it cheap enough but our Asda seems to have cottoned on to this and its now 58p a bottle!) I diluted it and use it on the telly as it seems to stop it getting as dusty.
