on the repossessed 2 bed terrace i viewed earlier.
Asking price is 79,950. Basically, one bid from someone else had earlier been rejected. So, we have offered 76k. Hopefully get recommended as I am FTB, no chain, want to exchange asap.
There is cosmetic work to be done; new emersion thingy, boiler had leaked so ceil in living room need attention.
However, rooms are very good size, kitchen is practically brand new, brilliant location. Overall, with a bit of love and attention it would be a fantastic first home!
Probably going to have to wait until Monday to get a response from the vendor, as its a bank/building society.
This is actually killing me.......:o

I exchanged contracts on a repo on friday! I put in an offer 1 month ago.
Its a long hard and stressful slog! With the worry of being outbid at any second! And not understanding most of it, cos its all been new to me as a ftb!
Good luck!!!
Bear in mind though a lot of repos end up going for over the asking price!0
