Well, that certainly does what it says on the tin!

I have been trying to get my ie windows to open fullscreen for ages and after many, many "helpful" suggestions that didn't work this little app does the job!

    What's wrong with hitting F11?

Or being really clever having a shortcut in the shortcut bar containing "javascript:void(window.resizeTo(width, height))"
    width/height being your screen resolution.

I have several of those shortcuts to give different sizes at the click of a button.

In the case of IE, I have found that once its been maximized, closing and restarting it immediately ensures it starts in future as maximized. No special prog needed.

Oh, oh and!!! the command I posted above can also be added to the command line in the IE or Firefox shortcut so that it always opens at a certain set size :D

Until you stumble across a website that resizes the browser window using JavaScript, which is incredibly annoying. Firefox users have the option to prevent this from happening, but I'm not so sure about the other browsers.

I have tried everything to get the windows opening to full size, from dragging each corner to closing and restarting, etc.

Opening I.E. from a shortcut icon isn`t a problem but opening from start ---- favs ---- IS.
The above small, free program solves the issue.
