BT Contract comming to end (12 months)

Hi my Bt contract comming to end how do I let them no I dont want it to roll over. Do I give 1 months notice in writing or do I phone or both to be safe. If I go with sky who I am with for tv and internet is that a fixed contract? Thanks

    You contracts doesn't end - only the minimum period of service does - and this is a considerable difference. Depending on your exchange, Sky many not be able to offer you a complete service (line rental + calls). In which case you may need to retain your BT line for Sky's call package. Only they can answer thid.

    As for leaving, this is done automatically if Sky can tke over the line, and as you pay in advance for your line, cessation after the minimum term won't be an issue.
