Hi everyone,
I had a great day at Stonehenge today, it was gorgeous weather. We only got an hour there so I didn't get to go to the gift shop. I'm planning on going back though, I want to see if I can get my grandparents to get me a year's English Heritage membership as an early birthday pressie. There's so many lovely sites around the South West that I want to go and see, especially when I'm in the new house and I know I'll have a parking space when I get back.
Anyway, it's been a long day so I'm going to bed. I'll talk to you all tomorrow. Pity SB didn't win. Oh well, I'll put money that she'll be on the West End this time next year. She'll go far, that's for sure. Talk tomorrow.

i saw that the pool was having a grand reopening today... it looks good but not great for proper swimming as it's salty water... great palce to laze about all day though, got pool and loads of seating area/sunbeds... plus a cafe. You could easily spend the whole day there...........

DD2 elected to drive as on antibiotics.
Babt Samuel didn't settle as has picked up parents cold. Other grandparents couldn't cope. SIL went home. DD1 worried about SIl. DD2 said she woul take her home (10 mins return) but I had to be ready to go on her return.
Therefore I am home. :mad:
Sorry but if I was driving I would have done the job properly. But I'm a mug.
I just wanted to be with my friend at midnight at this milestone. Her OH died 18 months ago and this would have been good for them.
I'm just a selfish old woman.0
