Closed thread - can moderator please explain?

Options
Wanted to reply to very stupid comment addressed to me but was left hanging, voiceless, as thread had been closed! I'm new and don't understand this and couldn't find anything in FAQs. Can a moderator please explain why the thread was closed?

Possibly because you're a thoroughly unpleasant poster (having looked briefly at your 18 other posts)?

Why have you posted this enquiry in the Stoozing sub-board?

I thought I had posted it in the discussion section where peole keep saying such things should be posted, instead of in the advice ones. I'm new so still trying to get to grips with navigating the sites. Are you a moderator? If not, why have you replied?
